Libyan Food





Libyan food is a mixture of Aradic and Mediterranean, which is influenced by Italian food. Most families eat at home, except on fridawhen they go out for picnics.

Cuscous Recipe


6 cups hydrated instant couscous
1 red onion, small dice
1 red pepper, medium dice
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
1/2 orange, zested
1 orange, juiced
1/2 lime, zested and juiced
1/2 lemon, zested and juiced
1 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons sugar
